Our Food Closet Ministry serves individuals and families in the Phenix City area by providing food assistance, spiritual encouragement, and basic referral information. Our desire is to meet practical needs while also showing the love of Christ to those in our community.

 

The Food Closet is open each Tuesday morning from 9:00 - 11:00 AM and is staffed by volunteers from our church.

 

Volunteers play an important role in making this ministry possible by purchasing food, stocking shelves, meeting with recipients, providing encouragement, and distributing food. The ministry is supported through the generous contributions of church members and friends of Summerville.
