Hospital Bag

Summerville's Hospital Bag Ministry provides bags filled with bottled water, snacks, tissues, and other small comforts for families and friends waiting with loved ones at Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital. Volunteers help deliver these bags as a simple way to offer encouragement, care, and the love of Christ during what can be a difficult time.

More than simply providing a bag, this ministry gives us an opportunity to offer a kind word, a prayer, and a reminder that someone cares. It's a simple way to serve our community and share the love of Christ with people when they may need encouragement most.

Loved ones are grateful to receive a handshake, greeting, prayer, and ministry bag to give a small amount of comfort as they wait.  If you would like to serve the community but are not sure where you would best fit, this could be the ministry for you.
